Kent AV Energy was founded by a conglomeration of different commercially successful businesses with over 50 years of combined experience in developing, building, owning and operating energy and infrastructure assets across Australia, Europe, US, Asia and Africa.

Our business revolves around rolling out large-scale renewable energy projects throughout the country. From identifying promising opportunities, securing regulatory approvals, connecting you with the right EPC or optimising your operation, we can advise at any stage of the process.

Cyril Arambage

Chairman

Cyril's exceptional career in the energy industry spans over four decades, during which he has established himself as a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in project development and construction management of power generation assets, including renewable energy. Cyril pioneered the Build Own & Operation (BOO) asset base with one of Australia's largest energy companies and was responsible for the development and construction of nearly USD 1.2 billion worth of power generation assets ranging from, natural gas, bio-gas, landfill gas coal seam methane gas and waste to energy projects, a testament to his visionary leadership skills. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Chemical Engineering and a Masters degree in Energy Technology.

S. D. Samarasekera

Director

The founder & the Managing Director of AV Productions (Pvt) Ltd better known as AV Productions. Seniya Samarasekera is a highly accomplished, visionary leader with over 30 years of exposure in the local Advertising, Marketing and Event Management Industry. He obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) and Bachelor of Business Administration in 1992 from London School of Business Education (UK) affiliated to Brunel University in London. He is a Member of the Association of Business Executive (UK), Member of Charted Management Institute (UK) as well as Member of Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM). He is also the Director of Siyama Capital (Pvt) Ltd, AV Digitech (Pvt) Ltd & AV Eco Ventures (Pvt) Ltd.

Madura De Silva

Director

Madura is an executive Director of Sri Lankas leading Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing contractor, Kent Engineers (Pvt) Ltd. A Mechanical Engineering Graduate from The University of New South Wales, he has over 10 years of experience with Electrical, Plumbing, AC, Fire and Solar systems. He manages projects in the international market in countries such as Maldives, Seychelles and Bangladesh. Madura is also involved with property development in Victoria with plans to expand in to other states in the near future.

Visal Arambage

Director

Visal, A chemical engineering graduate from the University of RMIT Victoria, has more than 12 years of experience in the renewable energy generation industry, with a global presence spanning Germany, the UK, Australia, and Asia. He has established a strong track record of the delivery and management of over 200MW+ of industry-scale renewable energy projects, with a particular focus on industrial-scale solar, waste-to-energy, and combined heat and power plants.
